Orthopedic insoles are manufactured based on digital scanning of pressure values on the sole of foot. The system provides visualization and analysis of pressures on the sole of the foot, in particular in the area of excessive load or pathological changes using static and dynamic methods. The tests are performed on a long walking platform (3,200 mm, active part 1,200 mm, 4,800 sensors) enabling physiological gait free of stress when focusing attention on the short walking platform. The pressure image for the construction of the basic shape and profile of the inset is generated from three consecutive treads. This enables the collection of baseline (input) data with a high precision. The orthopedic insole can be further corrected as prescribed by the physician and according to the condition of the soles of the foot. Final data is transferred into the control computer of the numerically controlled cutter, in which the insole undergoes high-precision processing based on the combination of orthopedic-prosthetic materials of appropriate strength and covered with the insole. |
